Author: Pastor Lam Kee Hing was born and grew up in Johor Baru. In 1973, he was admitted into the University of Malaya. During his first year of studies he became a Christian during a time of personal brokenness. His life was so transformed that he decided to go into Christian ministry instead of accepting a banking job upon graduation in 1976. He served for 10 years in Christian ministry before going for a formal theological education in the Discipleship Training Center in Singapore in 1986-7. Upon completion of his theological training, he was invited by Scripture union of Sabah to be their staff worker in 1988. Subsequently, he served variously as a lecturer in the Sabah Theological Seminary, as a pastor of Maranatha Church, an independent Indigenous church and finally as the founder and Director of a Christian organization called Cornerstone Resources Berhad (CRB). In 2019 he decided to "retire" from official Christian ministry and stopped CRB's ministry to focus on mentoring and spiritual fathering. He and his wife Mei Chan are now serving together to mentor a group of 11 indigenous pastors and leaders called Tim Gibborim as well as overseeing a growing Indigenous church in Pitas, Sabah called Eagles' Apostolic Church(Gereja Apostolik Rajawali)
